Duncombe Park trip Year 1 and 2

DUNCOMBE PARK COUNTRYSIDE DAY YEAR 1 AND 2
 
 
Year 1 and 2 spent the day at Duncombe Park for their countryside Day. There were so many interesting activities and interactive learning. We learned how to milk a cow, brushed the ponies, had a reenactment of The Battle of Hastings. We made our own pots and planted seeds. We got in tune with nature and had a quiet moment laying and listening to the sounds of nature and experiencing the smells and senses all around us. They loved sitting and having their picnic lunch and looking at the amazing views around them, whilst the cows eyed up their packed lunches!!!
