Year 6 Leavers Production- ‘Pantastic’
We could not be prouder of our lovely class of Year 6 students who absolutely smashed it with their production of 'Pantastic'.
The stage was set up in our school field by the wonderful team at MB audio visual... Darius, Craig and Nathan- we thank you for your amazing skills!
Props were made and backdrop at the ready (even with a slight early hiccup when the wind tried to take it away!!)
This did not distract our performers and the show went on!
Some budding actors in the making. Class teacher (and Director extraordinaire) chose the perfect cast including a loveable Peter Pan, the motherly Wendy and her 2 brothers, a cadaverous Captain Hook and his sidekick Smee, sassy little Tinkerbell, cheeky yet loyal lost boys, a bunch of Scallywag pirates and a fierce group of Islanders including the Brave TigerLily. Some of the class also got very involved backstage in the production being part of the set and tech team!
The songs were amazing, with some tears shed amongst the crowd of parents and families as they belted out 'no body wants to grow old, believe in me and Higher and higher!
The effort in learning so many lines and stage direction whilst rocking fabulous costumes and smiles just blew us all away.
it was a night to remember and a proud celebration of our Class of 2022!!
