HISTORY ENRICHMENT WOW WEEK !!
What a week it has been, the children have enjoyed visits from The History Squad and Historical Interpretations, showing them life from the Stone Age to Iron Age, how the Vikings lived and fought. They also got to hold Vikings shields and swords and stage a fake battle!
We also managed to get out and about around Thirsk following the History Plaque trail and finished with a visit to Thirsk Museum. Year 1 & 2 managed (although the weather wasn’t great) a trip to Helmsley Castle. Thank you to all the parent helpers who made this week possible.
